The more I watch this show, the more endearing it gets cuz of scenes like this. It’s not just the sincerity that I find so appealing – it’s the simple truth of their growing affection for each other that is creeping closer to our two leads that interests me the most. Pretty soon there won’t be anywhere to hide for Joong Won. His jealousy will rear its head and that realization is going to knock him senseless. That’s the best part – all that bluster and for what – he will fall for the very last woman on earth he could see himself with. I’m not sure what will floor him more – the fact that he has feelings for her or that everything he did so far led to that moment. He only has himself to blame and it’s going to be pretty hard for him to kick himself when she is hanging all over him. He avoided intimacy and physical contact until she came into his life and changed that around by dangling his greed before his eyes. With his new competition throwing down the gauntlet, now the thought of not having her touch him exclusively is going to drive Joong Won crazy. The sadist in me can’t wait to watch Joong Won resort to being the one to seek out ghosts just so she will need him. Written before it aired As I watched that last scene unfold on episode four, I kept thinking how swoon-worthy that was for a reason most people wouldn’t find romantic. It wasn’t the sweeping embrace or putting aside his anger towards her that moved me so much. The man who claims to care only about money walked away from a business meeting to come rescue her. That appointment was so important to him and yet the only thought that registered when Kim said there was a huge accident nearby was that she would have to see a lot of dead people without him. As soon as his phone was returned to him, he immediately asked if anyone had called as if he anticipated her call, but then he realized she wouldn’t cuz he lashed out at her. Even though he was mad at her for lying to him, Joong Won still went to her cuz he knew she would need him now more than any other time. I love when the male lead cares more than he lets on or even wants to. It’s as if some unfathomable force is controlling his actions and he gets baffled by his sudden change in demeanor until the truth of his feelings sinks in. I have a feeling Joong Won is going to stay in denial land for a while longer since he has so many unresolved issues with his first love. I know it’s wishful thinking, but I sort of hope he lets Gong Sil stay by his side for that night since she didn’t get any sleep the other day. If you are going to play the role of hero, might as well go that extra step and help her get some sleep too. At first he put his hand over hers, but later on he is holding her hand tightly as they walk. They get to a bridge walk and he asks if they got further away now and if it’s ok. she looks around and says there doesn’t seem to be any ghosts following me. she lets go to check around some more and goes back to holding his arm and says there aren’t any. he says there isn’t any so why hold me again. she says my hand keeps going to your body automatically. Joong Won points out he isn’ like shrimp chips for her hands to keep reaching out to. Gong Sil that is true – you are a really expensive president. also since you are mad at me – I thought you would keep away so I couldn’t touch you. Thank you so much for helping me president. He points out how she is expensive to him cuz of the money she can get back for him and I don’t run away from something expensive. Gong Sil smiles and says I am the radar that can see a 9 million dollar ghost huh? There is a place where some séance like ritual is being seems like a match making for a ghost. they are speaking Chinese. scary woman says the girl who died is the same age as the boy and she died at the same age. there is a ghost of a rich young guy and a girl. the woman prepared something. the young boy is referred to as young master. there is a parchment with red letters. the scary woman says the young master is here and once he finds his partner he will be able to leave comfortably. his grandmother speaks to her grandson’s ghost and says if grandma does this will you be comfortable? he turns scary looking and is gone. the scary woman says the young master didn’t like this young lady. Gong Sil washed her hair and dried it. she wore makeup even and gets ready for her new job The older boy tells Kang Woo the milk was delivered and asks are you going to drink it now. Kang Woo tells him to drink it. the kid thanks him and tells him how Gong Sil got a hired at the same place as him. she just now left. this time she has to do well and not get fired so you watch over her. scary people follow her around and bother her. Gong Sil is in her storage room and reads her business card job title. the coffee ghost comes out so she offers to buy him some The scary woman from the séance shows up at the mall and stares down Sung Ran – Joong Won’s aunt. Sung Ran nods to her. Seuk Chul asks if she knows the woman Sung Ran says the woman is Chinese and is famous among all the wealthy families who know of her. She can contact the dead and is a matchmaker for the dead. a wedding that is forever. In case the dearly departed loved ones might be lonely the woman finds a match for the deceased. She is the post wedding planner. Seuk Chul says wealthy families do the silliest things. Sung Ran changes the subject and says I heard Bang room Sil got a room – where is that? since she mixed up the name again Seuk Chul corrects her in a snappish tone and says not a room – an office. And she isn’t Bang Sil, she is Gong Sil. Sung Ran gapes at him in disbelief so he quickly says I love you. Gong Sil tells her sister about her new job so Gong Ri reads the business card and says there was something like that? Joong Won says how she stepped away from business when she lost her precious grandson not too long ago. Seuk Chul says how Wang could be their special VIP client. that Sung Ran already went to the special customer service center that Joong Won made. Joong Won makes Seuk Chul get his butt off his desk Gong Sil tells Joong Won that she got a special job offer from Sung Ran to make a delivery. he connects the dots and figures that rich grandma wants Gong Sil’s help for her dead grandson. he asks if you go there then wont you see him? Gong Sil stops panicking and looks around. she sees the grandson’s photo. he is standing by the window with his back to her. she gets closer and his face gets scary looking. grandma is told she has a guest. she asks what he is doing here. Joong Won says I came to get my female employee who made a delivery here. where is she? grandma asks if presidents go around looking for their female employees themselves these days. Joong Won if she was just an average female employee then you wouldn’t have called her separately over here. grandma says I invited her over cuz I had a special favor to ask of her. He gives Gong Sil a dirty look but Gong Sil says grandma your grandson told me to tell you something. She relays the message from the grandson in his tone just the way he said it- grandma stop doing this now. also tell that ajumma with her dolls to get lost. she makes the same gesture as the guy would have so his grandma is happy to hear from her grandson and says it is my Ji Woo. I want to see her once. Joong Won smiles and says you can meet her. He asks Gong Sil – right? Gong Sil says I don’t know. I just know this she makes that hand motion the kid taught her. Joong Won turns back to the grandma and says my employee will drop by here and through a lot of conversations with your grandson, she will find that out for you. grandma asks didn’t you say she was an important employee that you had to take back. The girl cries and touches the roses and says it’s pretty. he lied that it was ugly. In the car Gong Sil tells him what type of love the green rose means. a rare stately love that only exists in heaven. thank goodness that Ji Woo, that girl, and his grandma knows his heart. Joong Won says how well things went today in getting his investment and she played a part so he offers to take her all the way to her home but Gong Sil says no don’t go up to the front of the gositel. riding in your car if I run into him there is someone it could get complicated. When the car is stopped, before she gets out she has this sly look on her face and holds his hand and puts it up to her face. he literally watches his hand being taken advantage of. He asks what is this. she says it’s a waste to just go after saying it was for free. he pulls his hand away and she says bye. Joong Won looks at his hand and then says to drive on Gong Sil walks home and says after just holding his hand why does it seem like I am not scared at all. I wonder why. She realizes the two men behind her aren’t ghosts so why follow me. two men ask her to follow them and grab her. she asks who they are and why they are doing this. Kang Woo shows up and gets between her and the men and gently moves her back. then he fights them off Gong Sil asks if he is ok. Kang Woo asks if those guys were the ones following her around. she mutters why are people following me. the scary woman shows up Kang Woo stands nearby as they talk. the scary woman says I came cuz I wanted to see you once more but there seems to have been a misunderstanding. You shine very brightly. That’s why the beings in the dark keep seeking you out. Gong Sil there is a light from me? the woman says even though they complain and make requests of you, you have to set boundaries. Among some of them they see a hidden opportunity. They want to use you for an opporntunity to come back.
